1) Sequenciamento temporal obrigatório (Past Perfect)
Exemplo: When the engines failed, the pilot had already contacted the tower.
Pegadinha ITA: Colocar somente contacted, ignorando a anterioridade lógica.
2) Simple Present científico x Present Continuous
Exemplo: Water boils at 100°C under standard pressure.
Pegadinha ITA: Trocar por is boiling por achar que descreve processo.
3) Present Perfect para ações com impacto presente
Exemplo: Researchers have identified a new instability in the turbine model.
Pegadinha ITA: Escolher Simple Past sem marcador temporal.
4) Past Perfect Continuous enfatizando duração antes do evento
Exemplo: They had been testing the prototype for weeks before the failure.
Pegadinha ITA: Trocar por were testing — perde o sentido de ANTERIORIDADE + DURAÇÃO.
5) Future Perfect com “by the time”
Exemplo: By the time the mission launches, the system will have completed calibration.
Pegadinha ITA: Colocar will complete — quebrou a lógica futura.
6) Future Perfect Continuous com foco em duração
