🔍 20 Pegadinhas AFA — VERB TENSES — 🏛️ B3GE™

A AFA tem um estilo muito próprio — técnico, militar e cheio de precisão temporal.
Aqui está o “perfil psicológico da banca”:

✈️ 1) Tempos futuros avançados
Future Perfect e Future Continuous aparecem porque simulam planeamento, rotinas de voo e cronologia operacional.

✈️ 2) Present Perfect x Simple Past
A queridinha da AFA.
Eles adoram colocar last week / in 2018 / yesterday só para ver quem cai no has + participle.

✈️ 3) Mistura de narrativa militar com verb tenses
Decolagem, inspeção, protocolo, briefing, simulação — tudo para enfiar tempos verbais em contexto técnico.

✈️ 4) Past Perfect “engatilhado”
Eles sempre criam duas ações no passado e esperam que você veja qual veio antes.

✈️ 5) Conditional + verb tenses
AFA ama misturar conditionals com tempos para dobrar a dificuldade.


  1. Future Continuous – ação em progresso no futuro
    “At this time tomorrow, the pilots ___ (fly) over the training area.”
    Pegadinha AFA: marcar will fly em vez de will be flying.

  2. Future Perfect – ação concluída antes de referência futura
    “By 1800 hours, they ___ (complete) the maintenance check.”
    Pegadinha: usar will complete e ignorar o will have completed.

  3. Present Perfect x Simple Past
    “He ___ (visit) the academy last week.”
    Pegadinha: colocar has visited (há tempo definido → simple past).

  4. Present Perfect Continuous – duração até o presente
    “They ___ (train) for hours; no wonder they are exhausted.”
    Pegadinha: marcar have trained.

  5. Past Continuous x Simple Past
    “The cadets were marching when the instructor ___ (arrive).”
    Pegadinha: usar was arriving.

  6. Past Perfect – anterioridade real
    “The aircraft took off after the mechanics ___ (finish) the inspection.”
    Pegadinha: trocar por finished.

  7. Past Perfect Continuous – causa do estado
    “He was tired because he ___ (study) all night.”
    Pegadinha: aluno coloca had studied.

  8. Modal Perfect – must have / may have / might have
    “The crew must ___ (forget) the checklist.”
    Pegadinha: marcar must forget.

  9. Reported Speech – backshift obrigatório
    “The officer said the aircraft ___ (need) repairs.”
    Pegadinha: manter needs.

  10. Sequence of Tenses – consistência temporal
    “He said they ___ (run) simulations while he analyzed the data.”
    Pegadinha: usar run.

  11. Simple Present para timetable (voos, decolagens)
    “The squadron ___ (leave) at 0700 tomorrow.”
    Pegadinha: colocar will leave.

  12. Present Continuous com valor de futuro planejado

    Pegadinha: usar will meet.

    Pegadinha: colocar will sound.

  14. First Conditional – futuro real

    Pegadinha: usar are taking off.

  15. Second Conditional – hipótese no presente
    “If I were a pilot, I ___ (fly) that aircraft.”
    Pegadinha: usar will fly.

  16. Third Conditional – arrependimento passado
    “If they had checked the gauges, they ___ (avoid) the error.”
    Pegadinha: marcar would avoid.

  17. Mixed Conditional – passado → presente
    “If he had trained harder, he ___ (be) more confident now.”
    Pegadinha: colocar would have been.

  18. Future in the Past – would como futuro do passado
    “He knew the mission ___ (require) precision.”
    Pegadinha: usar will require.

  19. Stative verbs – não vão ao continuous
    “I ___ (understand) your point now.”
    Pegadinha: aluno marca am understanding.

  20. Cláusulas temporais – no future after when/after/before
    “When the briefing ___ (end), we will head to the runway.”
    Pegadinha: usar will end.
