🔍 20 Pegadinhas EPCAR — CONDITIONAL SENTENCES — 🏛️ B3GE™

A EPCAR tem um padrão muito característico, diferente de AFA/ESPCEX/EEAR:

🔥 1) EPCAR AMA confusão entre Second e Third Conditional

Eles colocam tempos quase iguais para você cair na troca de “would be x would have been”.

🔥 2) Misturar may/might/can/could

É uma maldade clássica da banca.

🔥 3) Usar if + will como erro disfarçado

Eles repetem isso todo ano.

🔥 4) Fazer você esquecer que were é o padrão no subjuntivo

Principalmente com If I were you….

🔥 5) Criar confusão entre relações lógicas

unless, even if, as long as, provided that…
Eles amam trocar sentido.

🔥 6) Adoram “present continuous com valor futuro”

E te fazem achar que é erro, mas não é.

A EPCAR foca menos em gramática hardcore e mais em interpretação do tempo e do sentido lógico da condição.

1) If + Simple Present com will indevido

If he studies hard, he will improve.
Pegadinha EPCAR: “If he will study hard…”


2) Zero Conditional vs First Conditional

If water freezes, it becomes ice.
Pegadinha: EPCAR coloca will become.


3) Segundo condicional com “was” em vez de “were”

If I were older, I would apply.
Pegadinha: “If I was older…”


4) Third conditional truncado

If they had trained more, they would have passed.
Pegadinha: “would had passed”.


5) Confusão entre unless e if not

Unless you hurry, we’ll be late.
Pegadinha: “Unless you don’t hurry…”


6) If + futuro (erro realista da EPCAR)

If it rains, we’ll cancel the drill.
Pegadinha: “If it will rain…”


7) Mixed conditional (past → present)

If he had slept earlier, he would be more focused now.
Pegadinha: trocar would be por would have been.


8) Mixed conditional (present → past)

If I were taller, I would have been selected.
Pegadinha: “was taller” + would be.


9) Inversão com Had

Had he practiced more, he would have succeeded.
Pegadinha: manter o if junto → Had he practiced… if…


10) Modal errado no condicional irreal

If he trained more, he might win.
Pegadinha: EPCAR troca might por may.


11) Resultado com can em vez de could

If she tried harder, she could improve.
Pegadinha: can improve.


12) Imperative result clause

If you feel dizzy, report to the infirmary.
Pegadinha: fazer report virar reports.


13) Condicional com should (formal)

If you should need help, call the instructor.
Pegadinha: “If you would need…”


14) Third conditional: modal + have + participle

If they had checked earlier, they could have avoided the problem.
Pegadinha: could avoid.


15) “Even if” confundido com Second Conditional

Even if it rains, the team will march.
Pegadinha: Even if it rained, the team will march.


16) If only como condicional implícita

If only he had listened!
Pegadinha: has listened.


17) First conditional com Present Continuous como valor futuro

If he is leaving tomorrow, I’ll talk to him today.
Pegadinha: If he will leave…


18) Clauses invertidas induzindo erro de tense

You will pass if you keep training.
Pegadinha: EPCAR troca keep por kept.


19) Reported conditional

He said that if it rained, they would wait.
Pegadinha: “will wait”.


20) Estruturas com as long as

As long as you follow the rules, nothing will go wrong.

Pegadinha: trocar follow por followed (criando condicional irreal indevida).
