🔍 20 Pegadinhas FGV — CONDITIONAL SENTENCES — 🏛️ B3GE™

A FGV tem um estilo muito “empresarial” e pragmático, então as pegadinhas seguem um padrão próprio:


🔥 1) Adora mexer nos TEMPOS VERBAIS para quebrar lógica temporal

Principalmente trocando presente por passado sem necessidade.


🔥 2) Ama confundir estruturas equivalentes

unless = if not
as long as = provided that
E tenta inverter o sentido.


🔥 3) Mistura Condicionais com Verbos Modais

A FGV é a banca que mais troca can/could, will/would, may/might.


🔥 4) Enche as frases de contexto de negócios

E aí tenta fazer você interpretar como situação hipotética quando não é.


🔥 5) Coloca condição real parecendo irreal

E vice-versa — é a pegadinha FGV clássica.

2) Zero Conditional substituído por First

3) Contrafactual com “was” em vez de “were”

If she were the manager, she would change everything.
Pegadinha: “If she was the manager…”


4) Third Conditional truncado

If they had reviewed the contract, they would have avoided the mistake.
Pegadinha: would avoided ou would have avoid.


5) “Unless” mal usado

Unless you update the software, it won’t run properly.
Pegadinha: “Unless you don’t update…”


6) Futuro depois do “if” em frases de planejamento

If sales fall again, we’ll cut costs.
Pegadinha: “If sales will fall…”


7) Mixed Conditional (past → present)

Pegadinha: “would have been living”.


8) Mixed Conditional (present → past)

Pegadinha: FGV troca were por was e troca o modal.


9) Inversão formal (Had + subject + participle)

10) Confusão com modais no resultado

11) Ordem invertida para induzir tense errado

12) Imperative result clause

13) First Conditional com Present Continuous futuro

Pegadinha: trocar por “will leave”.


14) “As long as” confundido com unreal conditional

Pegadinha: were valid… would continue.


15) “Provided that” mal-interpretado

Pegadinha: usar passado → met + would get.


16) Reported conditionals

Pegadinha: trocar por will react.


17) Condicional com “should” formal

18) Condicional com futuro hipotético

Pegadinha: “continues” → “continued”.


19) “Even if” confundido com Second Conditional

Pegadinha: “Even if costs rose, we won’t…”


20) Comparativos dentro de condições

Pegadinha: FGV troca performs por performed para simular contrafactual.
