1) Zero Conditional com sentido universal
• Item: If + Present → Present
• Exemplo: If water reaches 100°C, it boils.
• Pegadinha UFPR: Trocam por will boil, mas zero conditional nunca usa will.
2) Zero Conditional aplicado a rotinas
• Item: If + Present → Present
• Exemplo: If I wake up late, I miss the bus.
• Pegadinha: Colocar misses com sujeito “I”, erro clássico.
3) First Conditional com imperativo na main clause
• Item: If + Present → Imperative
• Exemplo: If you see John, tell him to call me.
• Pegadinha: UFPR tenta trocar por will tell (não pode).
4) First Conditional com modal “can/may/might”
• Item: If + Present → Modal
• Exemplo: If it rains, we can stay indoors.
• Pegadinha: Colocam could (viraria hipótese de 2nd conditional).
5) First Conditional invertido (When + Future meaning)
• Item: When + Present → Future
• Exemplo: When you arrive, we’ll start.
• Pegadinha: Tentativa de colocar will arrive depois de "when".
6) Second Conditional com verbo to be (were only!)
• Item: If + Past → Would
• Exemplo: If I were you, I’d rethink that.
• Pegadinha: Substituem were por was; UFPR ama cobrar.
7) Second Conditional com ação improvável
• Item: Hipótese distanciada
• Exemplo: If she knew the truth, she would act differently.
• Pegadinha: Trocam por will act, quebrando a irrealia.
8) Third Conditional com “would had”
• Item: If + Past Perfect → Would have + PP
• Exemplo: If they had studied, they would have passed.
• Pegadinha: would had passed — erro clássico UFPR.
9) Mixed Conditional (past → present)
• Item: If + Past Perfect → Would + base form
• Exemplo: If I had slept more, I wouldn’t feel tired now.
• Pegadinha: Colocam would have felt (que seria third conditional).
10) Mixed Conditional (present → past)
• Item: If + Past Simple → Would have + PP
• Exemplo: If I were richer, I would have traveled last year.
• Pegadinha: Tentam usar were + would travel → não casa.
11) Unless = If not (valor negativo real)
• Item: Unless + positive verb
• Exemplo: You’ll fail unless you study.
• Pegadinha: Trocam por unless you don’t study (dupla negação → errado).
12) Inverted Conditional (Had I known…)
• Item: Inversão sem “if”
• Exemplo: Had I known, I would have helped.
• Pegadinha: Colocam Had I knew — verbo no wrong tense.
13) Should-inversion (formal suggestion)
• Item: Should + subject + verb
• Exemplo: Should you need help, call me.
• Pegadinha: UFPR tenta usar If you should need com will call.
14) “If only” + past simple (arrependimento do presente)
• Item: If only + Past
• Exemplo: If only I knew her name!
• Pegadinha: Trocar por If only I know — quebra o sentimento hipotético.
15) “If only” + past perfect (arrependimento passado)
• Item: If only + Past Perfect
• Exemplo: If only he had listened!
• Pegadinha: Colocam would have listened após “If only”.
16) “As long as” = condição real
• Item: As long as + Present → Future/Imperative
• Exemplo: As long as you pay on time, you’ll keep your discount.
• Pegadinha: Confundir com valor temporal (enquanto).
17) “Provided/Providing (that)”
• Item: Condição restritiva
• Exemplo: You can stay provided you keep quiet.
• Pegadinha: UFPR tenta usar “providing that” + will keep.
18) “Even if” indicando oposição
• Item: Even if + present → future
• Exemplo: Even if it rains, we’ll go.
• Pegadinha: Confundir com even though (fato, não hipótese).
19) “If so / If not” substituindo cláusula inteira
• Item: Condição retomada
• Exemplo: Check the results. If not, contact support.
• Pegadinha: Colocar If no (gramaticalmente incorreto).
20) Conditional perfect com modais especiais
• Item: Would/could/might have + PP
• Exemplo: He might have won if he had trained harder.
• Pegadinha: Trocar might have por may have (valor incorreto na hipótese).
