A prova da EEAR, independentemente da área, tem um perfil muito bem definido:
🔥 1) ADORA mexer nos advérbios de tempo e lugar
Eles sabem que isso destrói aluno.
Então jogam:

today → that day
-
yesterday → the day before
-
tomorrow → the next day
-
here → there
-
now → then
-
this/these → that/those
São as pegadinhas mais frequentes de todo o edital.
🔥 2) Ama confundir o aluno com perguntas indiretas
A EEAR é apaixonada por:
-
erros de inversão
-
“do/did” sobrando
-
falta de if/whether
É quase marca registrada das questões.
🔥 3) Ama jogar modal verbs e pedir as mudanças (ou não mudanças)
O aluno cai duro quando aparece:
-
must → had to
-
can → could
-
may → might
-
should → should (NÃO muda!)
É uma pegadinha clássica e constante.
🔥 4) Ama imperativo convertido em infinitivo
E principalmente:
-
not to (correto)
-
alternativas com to not (errado)
Eles colocam isso em quase toda prova da área técnica.
🔥 5) Ama mexer nos pronomes pessoa/objeto
Eles trocam:
-
“me / him / her / them”
-
“I / he / she / they”
E colocam alternativas que parecem perfeitas… exceto por essa micro-troca.
REPORTED SPEECH — EEAR (TODAS AS ÁREAS)
1) Backshift básico obrigatório
Direct: “I am tired,” he said.
Reported: He said he was tired.
Pegadinha: manter “am”.
2) Backshift NÃO obrigatório (verdades científicas)
Direct: “The Earth moves around the Sun,” she said.
Reported: She said the Earth moves around the Sun.
Pegadinha: “moved”.
3) Verbos modais confusos — MUST
Direct: “You must finish the report,” he said.
Reported: He said I had to finish the report.
Pegadinha: manter must.
4) CAN → COULD
Direct: “I can help you,” she said.
Reported: She said she could help me.
Pegadinha: “can”.
5) MAY → MIGHT
Direct: “It may rain,” he said.
Reported: He said it might rain.
Pegadinha: “may rains”.
6) SHOULD não muda
Direct: “You should study,” he said.
Reported: He said I should study.
Pegadinha: “shoulded”.
7) Imperativo afirmativo → TO + VERB
Direct: “Check the instruments!”
Reported: He told them to check the instruments.
Pegadinha: “that they checked”.
8) Imperativo negativo → NOT TO
Direct: “Don’t touch the panel!”
Reported: He told him not to touch the panel.
Pegadinha: “to not touch”.
9) Yes/No questions → IF / WHETHER
Direct: “Do you hear me?”
Reported: He asked if I heard him.
Pegadinha: manter “did I”.
10) WH-questions sem inversão
Direct: “Where are you going?”
Reported: He asked where I was going.
Pegadinha: “where was I going”.
11) THIS → THAT
Direct: “This flight is delayed.”
Reported: He said that flight was delayed.
Pegadinha: manter “this”.
12) THESE → THOSE
Direct: “These documents are important.”
Reported: He said those documents were important.
Pegadinha: “these”.
13) HERE → THERE
Direct: “I live here.”
Reported: She said she lived there.
Pegadinha: “here”.
14) NOW → THEN
Direct: “I need the file now,” he said.
Reported: He said he needed the file then.
Pegadinha: “now”.
15) TODAY → THAT DAY
Direct: “We have a meeting today.”
Reported: They said they had a meeting that day.
Pegadinha: “today”.
16) TOMORROW → THE NEXT DAY
Direct: “He leaves tomorrow,” she said.
Reported: She said he left the next day.
Pegadinha: “the day after tomorrow”.
17) YESTERDAY → THE DAY BEFORE
Direct: “I worked yesterday.”
Reported: He said he had worked the day before.
Pegadinha: “yesterday”.
18) SAY ≠ TELL
Direct: “Pay attention,” he said to me.
Reported: He told me to pay attention.
Pegadinha: “said me”.
19) Let’s → suggested + gerund
Direct: “Let’s check the engine.”
Reported: He suggested checking the engine.
Pegadinha: “suggested to check”.
20) Futuro → WOULD
Direct: “I will fix the issue,” he said.
Reported: He said he would fix the issue.
Pegadinha: manter “will”.
