Before Blank I known for his stories for children, he made very successful adult characters, such as Jeremias, the Good, Supermom and Mineirinho. He published in highly important magazines and newspaper like O Malho, O Cruzeiro and O Jornal do Brasil, heading for an opening trail in the 1950s, when he started his  career drawing for  publications  in Minas Gerais. In love with  the  movie  industry, Ziraldo  guarantees that Bank  II he would passionately move on to the seventh art. The closest he got to this dream was to make a script for his stories, with the transposition to  the  big  screen  of The  Nutty  Boy,  and  is  fulfilled  seeing  his  three  children Antônio Pinto, who makes soundtracks, Fabrizia Pinto, advertising and movie director, and Daniela Thomas, a set designer, involved with the moving image universe.When asked about where his inspiration comes from he says: “I don ́t know if this inspiration thing exists.
