👍Neste post, veremos questões de diversos VESTIBULARES sobre o tema IF CLAUSES.
Focaremos os 03 TYPES:
- FIRST CONDITIONAL(Simple Present+Simple Future)
- SECOND CONDITIONAL(Simple Past+Conditional Simple)
- THIRD CONDITIONAL(Past Perfect+Conditional Perfect)

Ora,sabemos que o PAST PERFECT combina com a CONDITIONAL PERFECT na 3ª condicional,logo a frase ficará:

⃝👉Observe a primeira sentença:
👉I wasn't tired last night. If I were tired,I would have gone home.
Perceba que está INCORRETA a construção "...If I were tired,I would have gone home."
O passado subjuntivo "were" faz parceria com o condicional simples "WOULD",caso típico de SECOND CONDITIONAL(Simple Past+Conditional Simple).
A construção correta é:
"I wasn't tired last night. If I were tired,I would home."
"Eu não estava cansado(a) ontem à noite. Se eu estivesse cansado(a), eu iria para casa."
👉A segunda sentença expõe:
"You'd be surprised if I told you how much it costs."
Construção correta,pois temos condicional simples "WOULD" em "You'd be surprised..." combinando com o passado simples em "...if I told you...",caso típico SECOND CONDITIONAL(Simple Past+Conditional Simple).
A tradução da sentença é:
"Você ficaria surpreso(a) se eu lhe contasse quanto custa."
Portanto sentença CORRETA.
👉A terceira sentença expõe:
"I'd be able to visit Monica in the afternoon if I stay in Santiago overnight."
Perceba que temos um presente simples "if I stay" mais CONDICIONAL simples,o que configura construção errada,pois sabemos o presente simples combina é com FUTURO.
A construção correta é:
"I'll be able to visit Monica in the afternoon if I stay in Santiago overnight."
"Eu poderei visitar Monica pela tarde se eu ficar em Santiago durante a noite."
👉A última sentença expõe:
"If Carrie had been honest ,she would return the money."
Perceba PAST PERFECT em "...had been..." e CONDITIONAL SIMPLE em "...she would return...".
Sabemos que PAST PERFECT (had been)combina com CONDITIONAL PERFECT(would had returned),ou seja a sentença deveria ser da seguinte forma:
"If Carrie had been honest ,she would had returned the money."
"Se Carrie tivesse sido sincera, ela teria devolvido o dinheiro."
Portanto a opção correta é

Seu comentário na última sentenção - If Carrie had been honest ... - contém um erro. Não existe WOULD HAD - would é sempre seguido pela forma do verbo no infinitivo sem o to, ou seja, WOULD HAVE returned...
