1. As pronúncia de "THE" podem ser (dá),(dê),(dí) ou (á).
2. "THE" seguido de consoante é (dá):
3. "The house is made of bricks."(dáRRáussi-ízMêirovi-brêkssi):"A casa é feita de tijolos".
4. "The red car."(dáRédikár):"O carro vermelho.".
5. "THE" seguido de vogal é (dí): 
6. "The attraction", neste caso a pronúncia do "THE" é (dí) e a expressão fica:(diatrékChãn).

9. Após as partículas "TO","WITH", a pronúncia do "THE" é (dá),por exemplo:
