A expressão WORST-CASE SCENARIO significa THE WORST OR THE MOST SERIOUS THING THAT COULD POSSIBLE HAPPEN IN A SITUATION, ou seja, "A PIOR OU A COISA MAIS SÉRIA QUE PODE ACONTECER EM UMA SITUAÇÃO" e pode ser traduzida como "A PIOR DAS HIPÓTESES" ou "O PIOR CENÁRIO", como por exemplo:
